Talofa from Pasifika Shining Lights
Pasifika Shining Lights (PSL) provides primary mental health support to becoming Pacific parents, parents and infants and children from 0-5 years with mild to moderate mental health and / or addiction concerns.
Through Upega, participants have also been able to access Kupega o Moana Pasifika Parenting Innovation Centre programs, further strengthening the support network for mothers and aiga. One of PSL’s greatest strengths is its "by Pacific, for Pacific" approach.
The program’s content is tailored, relatable, and enriched with heartfelt stories that resonate deeply with tina (mothers). It also creates opportunities for talanoa (open dialogue), allowing participants to share, learn from one another, and offer encouragement.
